80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet

A favorite among guests, this is our friendly and approachable red table wine.  The bright cherry coloring is also detected on the tongue with the cherry and plum sweetness.  The smooth finish makes this an enjoyable red wine for even the white wine guests. The unpretentious 2003 Kokkino companions well with pasta, breads and light fares, like Taverna’s Meze Plate of hummus, spicy feta and warm pita bread.
