
5% Cabernet, 95% Syrah
Surprisingly light, the 2003 Syrah gives the contrasting sweetness of fresh berries and plum to the nose and a faint taste of black olives to the taste buds with a peppery finish. The peppery finish makes this an excellent selection with strong beef, venison or rich chocolate. It has been found to be delicious with Taverna’s Cast Iron Seared Potato Cakes with smoked chilies and garlic.
